"Thanks to the Lee Brothers Sidekick Foundation grant, I was able to purchase dozens of songs, blank CD's, and materials. My 6th grade students enjoyed listening to these songs and reading the lyrics, discussing them as literature. They said that they enjoyed listening to the songs and discussing their ideas. Ultimately we wrote evaluative essays, showing how criteria matched up with our subjects. Thanks, Lee Brothers!"
